It’s with great pleasure that
we invite our students, at the end of each group course, to have
dinner and a Fado night at a traditional restaurant in a typical
Portuguese neighbourhood. At the student’s request, we can
organise historical little trips in Lisbon, with your teacher.
Excursions Outside Lisbon
With Your TeacherDuring
the last week of the 3 or 4 weeks course we are also able to offer
an optional full day excursion out of Lisbon. Trips are arranged
to places of cultural and historic interest such as Sintra, Óbidos
and Évora.
The excursion, which is in addition to the cost of the course, enables
you to spend a day out with your teacher to practice and improve
the Portuguese you have learnt during the course.
You will have the opportunity to speak in ‘real life’
situations in cafés, restaurants, museums, handicraft shops
and other places of interest – anything from ordering the
essential Portuguese coffee, ‘uma bica’ to commenting
on the beautiful views from the Pena Palace in the Sintra hills. We
require a minimum of five students to organise these trips
* 50 minutes

by all the students
